TP-Link VIGI is TP-Link’s professional surveillance range, and the value option in the Easy CCTV catalogue. It sits well clear of the consumer smart-camera market: PoE-powered cameras, ONVIF compliance, local recording to a dedicated NVR with a surveillance-grade hard drive, and management through the VIGI app or VIGI Security Manager on a computer. No monthly subscription and no cloud dependency.
The range offers AI human and vehicle classification, full-colour night vision, and genuine two-way audio through a built-in speaker and microphone, at roughly half the cost per camera of the equivalent Hikvision AI range. TP-Link VIGI is distributed locally in South Africa, so replacements and warranty claims are handled here rather than shipped internationally. Every unit carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
