The in-ceiling mount for flush dome installations

Most dome camera installations sit the camera body slightly below the ceiling surface, mounted on a flat ceiling tile or surface. Some installations need the camera to recess into the ceiling itself, with only the lens dome visible flush with the ceiling line. The Hikvision DS-1473ZJ-155 is the in-ceiling mounting bracket that makes that possible.

For commercial installations where ceiling aesthetics matter (premium retail, hospitality interiors, healthcare reception areas, corporate boardrooms), this is the bracket that lets the camera become genuinely architectural. The lens looks down through a small flush opening rather than hanging from a visible dome.

This bracket only works on ceilings with accessible void space behind them. Solid concrete ceilings, traditional plastered ceilings without service voids, and thatch roofs cannot accept this mounting style. We confirm ceiling construction during the site inspection before specifying in-ceiling mounting.
