Most dome cameras assume a ceiling or wall with reasonable space around the mount. Some installations have no such luxury. Built-in cabinetry, vehicle interiors, ATM enclosures, kiosk installations, behind-mirror positions in security-sensitive spaces, and any application where a standard 110mm dome physically does not fit.

The Hikvision DS-2CD2D25G1-D/NF is the compact mini-dome we install in those positions. It is significantly smaller than the standard indoor domes, designed specifically for tight enclosure mounting where the camera needs to be present but invisible. The lens and sensor are positioned for minimum footprint installation, with a basic but reliable feature set focused on capturing usable footage in constrained installations.
