The VIGI C540S is the camera to fit when one position needs to cover a wide area rather than a fixed view. It pans and tilts under motorised control, so a single unit can watch a whole yard, a long driveway, a parking area or an open forecourt that would otherwise need three or four fixed cameras.
It follows things by itself
Auto tracking is the feature that changes how this camera is used. When it detects a person or vehicle, it turns to follow them across its range rather than watching them walk out of frame. You can also set customised patrol routes so the camera sweeps a fixed sequence of positions on a schedule, and a power-off memory function returns it to its last position after a power interruption, which matters during load shedding.
ColorPro night vision
ColorPro is TP-Link’s higher tier of night imaging, a step above the standard full-colour night vision in the rest of the range. It is built to hold usable colour in genuinely poor light, which is exactly the condition a yard camera faces at two in the morning.
Face recognition and analytics
The C540S supports face recognition for access management and attendance, and people and vehicle analytics for searching recorded footage by attribute rather than scrubbing through hours of video. Both are advanced features and both need proper configuration to be worth having.

Installation
