Where the compact 16-series Turbo HD bullets are sized for under-eaves and architectural mounting, the 18-series bodies are a step up in size and ruggedness. Larger housing, more substantial heatsinking for sustained outdoor service in extreme weather, and longer IR throw than the compact bullets. The Hikvision DS-2CE18D0T-LFS 2.8mm is the standard 2MP version of the 18-series Turbo HD bullet.

The right call for fully exposed mounting positions: pole-mounted perimeter cameras, mast-mounted yard cameras, and any installation where the body is fully exposed to Highveld sun, rain, and wind without architectural shelter.
