The parapet-mount bracket for boundary walls
South African residential security has its own architectural realities. Most homes have boundary walls. Most boundary walls have parapet caps. Standard wall-mount brackets that fix to the side of a wall do not work on a parapet; they need to mount on top of the wall, with the camera looking over the perimeter. The Hikvision DS-4604ZJ-PA is the bracket designed specifically for that position.
Top-of-wall mounting puts the camera above the wall line for unobstructed coverage of both the inside and outside of the perimeter. Particularly useful on properties where the wall is the primary security boundary and the camera needs to watch both the immediate property and the area beyond the wall (pavement, alley, neighbour’s vacant stand).
