The latest-generation T-series 4MP ColorVu

The Hikvision DS-2CD2T47G3-LIY 2.8mm is the G3 (latest-generation) version of the T-series 4MP ColorVu bullet. Same long-reach 60-metre IR illumination as the G2H, refined sensor and processing for cleaner colour rendering in the worst light conditions, and the latest Hikvision low-light algorithm.

For most perimeter and front-gate positions, the previous-generation G2H model remains an excellent choice at a lower price point. The G3 is the right call when the position is genuinely dark, when standardising a fresh installation on the latest available technology matters, or when night identification is the absolute priority at a particular position.
