The Hikvision DS-2CD2T47G3-LIY with the 4mm lens is what we install when the position needs both reach and the latest-generation ColorVu performance. T-series long-range IR backup to 60 metres, G3 sensor refinement for the cleanest possible low-light colour rendering, and a tighter 4mm field of view that delivers usable face and vehicle detail at 12 to 18 metres.

This is the right call for long driveways on larger homes, smallholding entry roads, and any perimeter section where you need full-colour night identification at distance, on current-generation hardware.
