The T-series 4MP ColorVu bullet for perimeter and front-of-house

If the compact 47-series ColorVu bullets are designed for residential side and rear positions, the T-series ColorVu is what you install when the camera position needs to project further into the dark. The Hikvision DS-2CD2T47G2H-LI is the T-series 4MP ColorVu bullet with full-colour night vision throughout, in the bigger T-series housing with up to 60 metres of IR illumination for total-darkness coverage at distance.

This is the camera we install on perimeter wall sections, longer driveways, and front-gate positions where a residential 4MP setup is the right level of capability and the position needs reach. Full-colour night identification at 4MP, paired with IR backup that doubles the effective night-time coverage range of the camera.

What this camera is actually good at

• 4MP resolution with ColorVu. Full-colour footage at night, sharp enough for face and vehicle identification at perimeter distances.
• T-series long-range IR. Up to 60 metres of supplementary infrared illumination when ambient light drops below ColorVu thresholds. Twice the reach of the compact 47-series.
• 120 dB true WDR. Bright-into-dark transitions handled cleanly.
• Built-in microphone. Audio captured alongside video.
• IP67 weather-sealed and IK10 vandal-resistant housing. Built for exposed perimeter mounting in Highveld weather.

Lens options: 2.8mm or 4mm

This camera comes in two lens variants:

• The 2.8mm wide-angle version for perimeter coverage and front-gate positions where you want the whole scene in one frame.
• The 4mm tighter version for longer driveways and tighter perimeter views where identification at distance matters.

• The DS-2CD2T47G3-LIY 2.8mm is the latest G3 generation of this same camera, with refined low-light performance.

If you want active deterrent or compact form

• The DS-2CD2T46G2-ISU/SL drops ColorVu but adds active strobe and siren for deterrent response at the same range.
• The DS-2CD2T46G2H-2I 2.8mm is the AcuSense bullet without ColorVu, in a compact body for residential positions.
