The compact 4MP ColorVu bullet with reach

The 2.8mm version of the 47-series ColorVu camera covers a wide scene up close. The Hikvision DS-2CD2047G2H-LI with the 4mm lens trades that peripheral coverage for usable identification detail at 8 to 12 metres, in the same compact housing. Full-colour night vision, weather-sealed for outdoor mounting, and small enough to mount in residential positions where the bigger T-series bullets are more camera than the spot needs.

This is a popular pairing in mid-sized homes and cluster developments. The 2.8mm version covers the immediate area around a porch or back door. The 4mm covers across the yard, down the side passage, or across the parking bay where you need to identify someone rather than just spot them.
