TP-Link Tapo C560WS 4K Outdoor Pan-Tilt WiFi Camera
The Tapo C560WS is the top of the Tapo outdoor range. It records in 4K, turns a full 360 degrees to follow movement, and keeps footage in colour at night using a starlight sensor backed by built-in spotlights. When someone steps into a protected area, it can switch on its lights and sound a 99dB siren automatically.
Its AI goes further than basic motion alerts. It tells people, vehicles and pets apart, recognises familiar faces stored locally on the camera, and supports line-crossing and tamper detection. Footage records to a microSD card inside the camera, so there is no recorder to buy and no data cable to run, only a 12V power cable to each camera.

You can buy the Tapo C560WS supply-only to fit yourself, or have Easy CCTV install it as part of a fixed-price package. Tapo C560WS FAQs
Does the Tapo C560WS see in colour at night?
Yes. A starlight sensor keeps colour in low light, and the built-in spotlights switch on to keep the image in colour in darkness. Infrared night vision up to 30m is also available if you prefer the lights off.
Does the Tapo C560WS need a cable?
Yes, a 12V power cable. Video travels over WiFi, or over the Ethernet port if WiFi is weak at the camera position.
Is face recognition legal in South Africa?
Face recognition is governed by the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The C560WS stores facial data locally on the camera rather than in the cloud. Get legal advice before using it in a workplace or public-facing setting, as Easy CCTV does not give POPIA advice.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The camera records to a microSD card inside it, and live view, playback and alerts work through the free Tapo app.
What warranty does it carry?
A 2-year manufacturer warranty, sourced through authorised South African distribution. Installed packages add our 12-month workmanship warranty.
